Grow is ApsteQ's growth group. We buy installs on Apple Ads, Google, Meta and TikTok, and we run the onboarding, paywall, push, email and win-back that keep those users. It is for app companies who want paid growth they can measure, with revenue per user in view and not only the cost per install.
Grow has two services that sit on either side of the install. Paid User Acquisition brings the right people to your listing. Retention & Lifecycle makes sure they open the app again, reach the value and, where it fits, subscribe.
This group replaces our earlier Drive Demand and Convert & Retain pages. We have managed $2.5M+ in ad spend and driven 52M+ installs across 300+ apps and brands since 2015, and the lesson is consistent: the two halves only work when planned together.
Paid acquisition without retention is a leaking bucket. You pay for each install, and if users leave in days, you pay again to replace them. Retention without acquisition is the opposite: a healthy app with too few new users to grow.
Planning them together changes the buying decisions. We tell the ad channels which users to find by looking at who actually stays and pays. We tell the lifecycle team which acquisition source each user came from, so onboarding speaks to them. Measurement is shared too, so cost per install is never judged apart from what the user is worth.

See Retention & Lifecycle →The most expensive pattern we meet is an app scaling ads on a weak first-session experience. The cost per install looks fine, the payback never arrives, and the team blames the channel. A better onboarding and paywall often changes the answer without touching the ad account.
The second pattern is measurement drift: three dashboards, three different install counts. We settle on one source of truth first. For benchmarks to compare yourself against, see our posts on CPI benchmarks and app retention benchmarks.
Go deeper with app user acquisition, the Apple Search Ads guide, app onboarding optimization and push notification strategy. The retention benchmark checker shows how your numbers compare.
Check retention first. If new users leave in the first few days, more ad spend only buys more churn. Fix onboarding and the first-week messages, then scale paid channels. If you already keep users well and growth is capped by reach, start with paid acquisition. The free audit shows which stage leaks most.
We run Apple Ads, Google App campaigns, Meta and TikTok for apps. We pick channels from your unit economics and what you can measure, not from a fixed list. Most accounts start with one or two channels and add others only after the tracking proves the first ones pay back.
It is everything that happens after the install: onboarding screens, the paywall, push notifications, in-app messages, email and win-back campaigns for lapsed users. We design the sequence, write the messages, set the triggers and measure which ones bring users back or lead to a subscription.
Enough for each channel to gather steady data, and enough runway to keep buying while we learn. We size budget backwards from your target cost per paying user, then hold spend steady until results justify scaling. We do not publish a minimum because it depends on your category and margins.
Yes. This group now covers the app side of both. Paid acquisition carries over from Drive Demand, and onboarding, push, email and win-back carry over from Convert & Retain. Landing pages and web conversion work sit in Web & SaaS Development.
The free App Growth Audit points to the stage that leaks most. Then we can talk about whether paid, lifecycle or both come first.
