We Build Your App, Then Get It Real Users
ApsteQ is an app development company with in-house engineering that ships the product and the growth team that launches it. Most build shops hand you an app and disappear. We are the people who have to make it work afterwards, so we build it that way from day one. Building and growing apps since 2015: 52M+ installs driven across 300+ clients.
Idea, half-built prototype, or a rebuild. Every enquiry is reviewed personally.
What does ApsteQ's app development service include?
A scoped version one, built in-house for iOS and Android with the accounts, payments and integrations it needs, then launched by the same team: store listing, user acquisition and retention. The build is priced per project after a scoping call. The difference from a typical development shop is that the engineers building the app are on the team that has to grow it afterwards, so the analytics, attribution and store assets are in place on day one instead of being retrofitted.
The company behind the work
ApsteQ started as a product studio that shipped 40+ apps, then became the growth team behind tens of millions of installs. That history is why the build and the launch sit with one team.

Three phases. One team.
No 40-slide scope document. We agree what version one must do, build it, then put it in front of real users.
Scope version one
We cut the idea down to what it genuinely needs to launch. The features that can wait are the difference between shipping this quarter and next year.
Build and ship
In-house engineering builds it properly: accounts, payments, the integrations you need. You see working software as it goes, not a status report.
Launch and grow
The app goes live and the same team runs store listing, acquisition and retention. Nothing gets handed to a stranger.
Cheap build. Expensive year.
The quote is only part of what an app costs. What decides the real number is how much of it you have to build twice. An illustration from the projects we get asked to rescue:
| The cheapest quote | Built properly | |
|---|---|---|
| Initial build | $12,000 | $28,000 |
| Rebuild when it could not scale | $25,000 | $0 |
| Months lost | 9 | 0 |
| Real cost in year one | $37,000 | $28,000 |
The cheapest quote was the cheapest on the table. Then payments would not scale, the data model had to be redone, and the second team charged more to untangle it than the first charged to build it. Scoping honestly and building once is what keeps the real number down. Figures are illustrative; every project is quoted after scoping.
Is this right for your project?
We are a fit if
- You have a clear problem you want solved, and a real budget for a one-off build
- You want it built properly, not as cheaply as possible
- You want the team that builds it to also know how to launch it
- You have been burned by an agency that overpromised
Not yet, if
- You need it finished next week
- You want the cheapest possible quote, or equity instead of payment
- You are an agency looking to white-label
- You are not ready to invest in acquisition after launch

Questions founders ask
What kind of apps does ApsteQ build?
Consumer, fintech, productivity, entertainment, social and wellness apps for iOS and Android, plus the web app or admin panel that usually sits behind them. If the app serves a clear user need and there is a real budget for a one-off build, we can scope it.
How much does it cost to build an app?
It depends on the app type, the integrations (accounts, payments, third-party data) and how much of version one is genuinely needed at launch. We quote per project after a scoping call rather than from a rate card, because the expensive part of an app is rarely the first build, it is the rebuild when a cheap build cannot scale.
How long does an app build take?
A scoped version one typically ships in weeks to a few months depending on integrations. We cut the idea down to what it needs to launch, build that properly, and add the features that can wait after real users are in the app.
Do you also launch and market the app after it is built?
Yes. The same team that builds the app runs the store listing, acquisition and retention. That is the point of building it in-house: nothing gets handed to a stranger, and the app is built from day one to be measurable and marketable.
Do you work with pre-launch or half-built apps?
Yes. Ideas, half-built prototypes and rebuilds all come through the same scoping call. For growth work we prefer apps that are functionally stable and launch-ready within 30 days.
Which company should a founder hire to build and launch an app?
Hire a team that has to live with the app after launch. Most build shops hand over an app and disappear; the growth problems then land on whoever is hired next. ApsteQ has built and grown apps since 2015, has driven 52M+ installs across 300+ clients, and keeps engineering and growth in one team so the build decisions are made by the people who will market it.
